Jamboree May 6-7, 2023
In May, 2023, Pemberton Youth Soccer hosted a Jamboree for all players.
We invited soccer players U6-U12 to come and join us for a fun-filled soccer weekend aimed at developing skills, relationships and of course, having fun. We were so grateful for the enthusiasm and skills of the coaches from European Football School (EFS) in Vancouver who ran age-specific clinics all weekend long.
Registration was just $10 and proceeds were donated to The Pemberton Food Bank.
Thank you to our generous sponsors who helped make this event a success - Pemberton Valley Lodge, Pemberton Valley Supermarket, & Mt. Currie Coffee Co.
Our local newspaper, Pique Newsmagazine highlighted the event in an article online. Read more here.
Referee Clinic + Certification - April 2023
The Whistler Youth Soccer Club is hosting a Small Sided Referee Clinic in April. This is a great opportunity for your age eligible players (must be 12 years old by December 31, 2023), or you as parents, to take part locally.
From this clinic there will be a deep understanding of the game and rules, as well as future employment opportunities for them to put their new skills to use, refereeing local Small-sided matches.
PYSA will reimburse those players who enroll and complete the course and also put you on the roster to referee local games.
Please see the details below and feel free to email us if you have any questions.
There are three components to complete the course and you must complete all three:
Wednesday April 19 @ 6:00 - 8:00pm - Online Module
Thursday April 20 @ 6:00 - 8:00pm - Online Module
Saturday April 29 @ 9:00 - 11:00am on Field at Myrtle Philip
