PYSA Events and Clinics
Referee Clinic + Certification - May 2024
The Whistler Youth Soccer Club is hosting a Small Sided Referee Clinic in May. This is a great opportunity for your age eligible players (must be 12 years old by December 31, 2024), or you as parents, to take part locally.
From this clinic there will be a deep understanding of the game and rules, as well as future employment opportunities for them to put their new skills to use, refereeing local Small-sided matches.
PYSA will reimburse those players who enroll and complete the course and also put you on the roster to referee local games.
If you have any questions please contact Connor Smith, Soccer Development Coordinator, at connorsmith@bcsoccer.net

Please note that the registration cut off dates listed above have been established because BC Soccer requires time to complete administration tasks listed below that are associated with each clinic:
- Entry Level Clinics Only: Students require time to complete the 17 pre-clinic modules (7-10 hours of work) which must be completed before the first webinar no exceptions.
- Entry Level & Small Sided Clinics: Ref Centre administration tasks:
- Removing duplicate/non-payment registrations from Ref Centre.
- Confirming registration numbers so the correct number of referee badges are mailed to the instructor in time prior to the in-person session.
To confirm, these stop mechanisms have been established to improve the clinic experience for all individuals (host, instructor and student) involved and they are not meant to impede registrations. As a result, we cannot accommodate late registrations even if there are spots available. Thus, please advise individuals to register early and to not leave it to the last minute.
Applicants enrolling in Small Sided Clinics must be 12 years of age on or before December 31 of the current year. This is a firm requirement set by Canada Soccer.
Jamboree May 4-5, 2024 - SAVE THIS DATE
Back for another year, Pemberton Youth Soccer will host another Jamboree weekend May 4-5, 2024.
We invite soccer players U6-U12 to come and join us for a fun-filled soccer weekend aimed at developing skills, relationships and of course, having fun. We were so grateful for the enthusiasm and skills of the coaches from European Football School (EFS) in Vancouver who will run age-specific clinics all weekend long.
Thank you to our generous sponsor - Pemberton Valley Lodge!
