U12 Food Drive - Scoring Goals + Feeding Families
The PYSA U12 team hit the streets for a Community Door-to-Door Food Drive on Sunday, October 26 2025! This incredible group of young players collected non-perishable food items and loonies to support local families in need. Going door to door across Pemberton, the team filled a RAV4 with food and raised $639 in donations. The food bank weighed the collected items at an impressive 450 lbs., which, using Food Banks Canada methodology, equates to a food value of $1,583. In addition, the team scored 22 goals as part of their Scoring for the Food Bank pledges, raising $912. When combined with the calculated value of the donated food, the total contribution equates to $3,134 in support of the Pemberton Food Bank!
